Jamie Hemphill, Lead Pastor
Jamie grew up in Maine and New Hampshire. He graduated from UNH in 1998 with a B.A. in History. Immediately after graduating, he worked for several years in the financial and technology industries. All along, though, he felt led by God to pursue local church ministry.
After completing his Master of Divinity degree at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, Jamie moved to Dover in 2006 with his wife, Kiley, and their two children for the purpose of developing BeFree Church in Dover.
Tim Donworth, Associate Pastor
Tim grew up in White Plains, New York. He graduated from Nyack College in 2010 with a B.A. in Religion. After serving in local church youth ministry he moved to the North Shore of Boston in 2012 to attend Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. During and after seminary Tim provided pastoral assistance and leadership at churches in Ipswich and Danvers, MA. He graduated with a Master of Divinity in 2015. Tim joined BeFree Church in Dover in 2018 as an associate pastor. He lives in Dover with his wife Katie and their daughter Elizabeth.
Grace Cooper, Children's Ministry Director
Grace, originally from India and England, grew up in India and graduated from Sheffield Hallam University, England with a BA in Business Studies. She met her husband, Jim while interning at Turbocam and moved to New Hampshire in 2006. After working in accounting for a few years, Grace took a break to raise her three daughters, Rebekah, Julia and Anna. After moving to Dover in 2015, Grace started attending BeFree Dover in early 2016 and has enjoyed serving on the DIG team for a couple of years before coming on as the Children's Ministry Director in 2018.
Cristy Tripp, Pastoral Assistant
Cristy grew up in New Hampshire and graduated with B.A.’s in Christian Education and Youth Ministry from Cedarville University and an M.A. in Biblical Counseling from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. She spent some time working as a counselor for The Summit Church in North Carolina, and spent time back in New Hampshire working with students with disabilities. Most recently she has taken time off to raise her new son, Henry. Cristy has been attending BeFree since 2012 and came on as Pastoral Assistant in 2017.
