Ways to Connect at BeFree Dover

A life of growth happens best in the context of Christian community.

We know deciding to visit a new church can be overwhelming, much less trying to find a place to connect and be known. We want to make it as simple as possible for you! Here are are a few ways that you can learn more about our church family and how you can connect.

  • Join us at 10:00am on Sunday mornings at 1 Washington St in downtown Dover.

Each Sunday our church family gathers together for a time of fellowship, singing, prayer, and preaching. We call this our “worship gathering” and it is the first step to connecting with our church family.

We offer three kid ministry options on Sunday mornings. DIG is our children's ministry and is available for infants through 8th grade.

    • Ages 0-3: Parents are welcome to bring children ages 0-18 months to the infant room and children ages 2-3 years to the toddler room for the entire worship gathering. Your little ones will be in good hands with our trusted and background checked volunteers.

    • Preschool to 4th Grade: After our time of singing during the worship gathering, kids are welcome to leave to receive an age-appropriate lesson during the teaching portion of our worship gathering. These grades are split into a preschool class, a K-1 class, and a 2nd-4th grade class.

    • 5th-8th Grade: This class for middle school students meets every other week after the time of singing. On the off weeks they are welcome to be a part of the sermon.

  • Community Groups are smaller communities within our church family where deep, lasting relationships can be made with others as you grow together in relationship with Jesus Christ. We believe that joining a Community Group is the best way for someone to connect to the life of our church as Community Groups are one of our primary means of discipleship. If you are interested in learning more about our Community Groups, contact our office.

  • When we give our lives to Christ, we not only gain relationship with God, but with His family. To become a Christ follower is to become a part of Christ’s Body the Church, God’s people in Christ from all over the world and lived out locally. Each local church is a unique incarnation of the universal family of God. Thus, the church is not a club of people with a shared interest or a place for religious services; it’s a diverse family united by their shared love and devotion to Jesus Christ.

We believe that membership is a biblically faithful way for all believers to attach themselves to a clearly defined local church body for the purpose of personal growth in following Christ and partnering together in loving God, loving others, and living sent.

Please contact the church office if you are interested in pursuing membership.
