Senior Breakfast
Folks 55 and up are invited to our next Senior Breakfast on Thursday, April 9 from 9-11:30am at BeFree Barrington. We will have the usual good food, fellowship, and games.
Christ in the Passover
BeFree Alton invites us to join them for "Christ in the Passover" on Tuesday, April 14 @ 6pm at Camp Brookwoods. We will enjoy a potluck meal together and then celebrate the traditional Passover Seder in light of its fulfillment in Jesus Christ.
This celebratory Christ in the Passover Seder will add vivid detail, color, and ‘life’ to the New Testament story of the Last Supper. Jesus Christ and his disciples observed the very same traditions that continue to be observed today in a modern day seder, which is still observed by Jewish people all over the world.
Oded & Bimini Cohen will be leading us in this celebration. They are serving in the Negev of Israel with Global Outreach International. Oded is a native-born Israeli Jew, and he grew up in a kibbutz in the Negev Desert. Bimini came to faith in Jesus as her Lord after wanting to convert to Judaism early in their marriage. A true friend interceded and gave her the New Testament, and she came to faith shortly after. Oded came to faith two years after Bimini did, after being shown in the Old Testament that Jesus is the Jewish Messiah, along with dreams and healings from God.
We hope you will join us! RSVP to attend.
