  • Sam Huggard

    Sam Huggard

    Pastor

    Sam grew up in Rochester NH and graduated from UNH with a BS in Kinesiology and from Cairn University with an MS in Christian Counseling. Sam previously planted and pastored BeFree Church in Alton NH. Prior to pastoring Sam served as an Area Director with Young Life. In addition to pastoring BeFree Dover, Sam also serves as the District Superintendent of the New England District Association of the Evangelical Free Church of America working to encourage pastors, resource churches, and catalyze church multiplication.

    Sam and his wife, Wendy, have been married since 1999. Wendy works as a school counselor in a public high school. They are parents of three young adults: Nadia, Isabelle, and Seth. Sam and Wendy are devoted Boston sports fans and can often be found enjoying exploring the lakes, mountains, and beaches of New England.

  • Cristy Tripp

    Cristy Tripp

    Director of Operations and Spiritual Care

    Cristy grew up in New Hampshire and graduated with bachelor’s degrees in Christian Education and Youth Ministry from Cedarville University and an M.A. in Biblical Counseling from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. She spent some time working as a counselor for The Summit Church in North Carolina, and spent time back in New Hampshire working with students with disabilities. Cristy currently spends most of her time at home with her husband and two boys. She has been attending BeFree since 2012 and came on as Pastoral Assistant in 2017. In 2023, Cristy moved into the role of Director of Operations and Spiritual Care.

  • Grace Cooper

    Grace Cooper

    Children’s Ministry Director

    Grace grew up in India and graduated from Sheffield Hallam University, England with a BA in Business Studies. She met her husband, Jim, while interning at Turbocam and moved to New Hampshire in 2006. After working in accounting for a few years, Grace took a break to raise her three daughters, Rebekah, Julia, and Anna. After moving to Dover in 2015, Grace started attending BeFree Dover in early 2016 and has enjoyed serving on the DIG team for a couple of years before coming on as the Children's Ministry Director in 2018.

  • Mike Rudolph

    Mike Rudolph

    Elder

    Mike serves as an elder, community group leader and finance team member at BeFree Dover. In addition to being actively engaged in church life, Mike invests his time as a realtor in the Seacoast area. Mike enjoys camping, kayaking, skiing, bowling and traveling. Mike and Cheryl have been married since 1983. They have 2 children and 4 grandchildren.

  • Ali and Joel Beachy

    Joel Beachy

    Elder

    Joel serves as an elder at BeFree Dover. He and his wife, Ali have two (soon to be three) active young children. Joel works at Liberty Mutual.

    Nick Dean

    Elder

    Nick serves as an elder and Worship Ministry Director for BeFree Dover. He and his wife, Hannah, have been married since 2005 and have four children. When Nick isn’t working in software development, you might find him running, biking, and hiking the trails in the Dover area.

  • Andrew Tripp

    Elder

    Andrew serves as an elder, worship team leader and middle school community group leader. He loves spending time with his wife Cristy and their two boys. In addition to connecting with friends and family, Andrew enjoys staying active with house projects and hobbies like disc golf.
